In 2000, I found myself in depression. I was skinny, sick and downcast. Yet medication didn’t help.
With the advice from my psychiatrist, I switched my focus to learning about the problems that others go through, instead of my own. It sounds like a small change, but with this shift in mindset, it made a huge difference. I overcame my depression and got better.
This taught me that what you focus on, gets magnified. We ought to learn to focus on the right things and gain power over our own lives.
